FineTest®Blue 516 is an amine reactive reactive dye that irreversibly labels dead cells before cryopreservation, fixation and/or permeation procedures. Unlike 7-AAD and propidium iodide, cells labeled with FineTest®Blue 516 can be washed, fixed, permeated and stained with intracellular antigens without reducing the staining intensity of dead cells.Therefore, when studying intracellular targets, compared with living cells in the same sample, membrane-damaged necrotic cells react with more FineTest®Blue 516 dye and therefore exhibit greater fluorescence intensity, thereby allowing these cells to be excluded from the analysis.FineTest®Blue 516 can be used to label the cells of all species.
FineTest®Blue 516 can be excited by the blue (488 nm) laser, with an emission peak of 516 nm that can be detected using a 530/30 band pass filter commonly used for detection of FITC.
The usage amount is 1μL/test.
