Annexin V is the common reagent for detecting apoptosis. The probe is a calcium-dependent phospholipid binding protein with 35kDa. Specifically bind with phosphatidylserine(PS) in the cell membrane with high affinity.

AnnexinⅤ labeled with FITC or EGFP is used as fluorescence probe. Detect apoptosis with the flow cytometer or fluorescence microscope.
