1. Prokaryotic protein expression services(E.Coli)

E.coli expression system is the widely used and cost-effective protein expression system. E.coli is featured with clear genetic background, rapid cell proliferation, simple culture, high expression level, strong anti-pollution etc.

Some limitations are also found in E.coli expression system, e.g. overexpression induced inclusion body, high level endotoxin, unsuitable for protein expression including post-translational modification, glycosylation and amidation.

Prokaryotic protein expression system is more suitable for expressing protein with low molecular weight and less modification. 2. Mammalian Transient Protein Expression Services

Mammalian cell expression system can perform complex post-translational modification, including glycosylation, phosphorylation and acetylation etc. Thus, expressed recombinant proteins are closer to conformation of native protein, showing higher biological activity and stability.
