ELISA is a widely used method for residual HCPs detection. Sandwich ELISA, in particular, has advantages such as good repeatability, high efficiency, simple operation, and wide applications etc. The sensitivity can reach 0.5 ng/ml, which is 200 times higher than that of CIE (Co-immunoprecipitation), and currently it has been the recognized method for detecting residual HCPs.
