Ab Drug and Immunogencity Research
Monoclonal antibodies and drugs are featured with high purity, strong specificity, and have been used for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of tumor and rheumatoid arthritis as well as acute rejection reaction of organ transplant patients. Currently, many monoclonal antibody drugs have been applied in clinical medicine, e.g. Bevacizumab(Avastin) is a VEGF inhibitor. Infiximab is used for rheumatoid arthritis. Trastuzumab is used for HER2-overexpressing advanced breast cancer. Rit-uximab is used for B lymphocyte tumor. Mouse anti-human CD3 monoclonal antibody is used for treatment and prevention of acute rejection reaction of organ transplant patients.
Monoclonal antibody drugs are usually exogenous proteins. Although most of them are humanized heavy-chain-only antibodies, Fab region still has immunogenicity. Allergic and immune reactions usually happen due to excessive or long-term injections.
FineTest has developed a series of Ab drug detection kits to help researchers and medical workers detect the content of drug metabolism during drug therapy, and conduct the research on drug induced-antibodies produced by the immune response in the human body. These research tool kits have high sensitivity and specificity.
